Panchakarma is the great invention of Ayurveda to avert and cure the diseases in purpose to accomplish longevity by transforming the body. Panchakarma is one of the effective curative modality in Ayurvedic Medicine. It is a way of cleansing and restoring Physical and Psychological Health by using clinical system of Ancient Wisdom of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda states, Body heals by itself but due to Modern Sedentary lifestyle, Stress, Anxiety, relational conflicts, chemical in foods and so on body found very hard to heal naturally. It still struggles to a point and we constantly start noticing the signs of Imbalance in our self. This imbalance affect all levels of health and need immediate action. As living in busy 21st century we often neglect this First stage of imbalance which costs us a lot later.

Panchakarma is the unique combination of Person centred natural treatments to detoxify, refresh, rejuvenate, rebalancing the body. It is elegant cleansing process that releases accumulated toxins and restores the body’s innate healing ability. The main key elements during Panchakarma are Metabolism, Toxins/ Metabolic residue(AMA) and Immunity.

In Ayurveda metabolism is interrelated with Agni (Digestive fire) and healthy functioning of Liver, when fire is robust and efficient maintain health and reversely poor sluggish Digestive fire produce toxins which flows all over the body with blood and cause obstruction in circulatory channels. These waste unwanted toxins are called AMA. There is a saying “AMA IS THE ONLY CAUSE BEHIND IMBALANCE”.

After eliminating the toxins/Ama from the body the process of rejuvenation plays a very important role to enhance the Immunity(OJAS), positivity, clarity of Perception with revitalisation.

Panchakarma is a Sanskrit word means five folds of cleansing the body to maintain and restore health like servicing your Car after certain kilometres on odometer. Unfortunately, we can change or fix any mechanical problem in our vehicles but not in human body if delayed.

Panchakarma/Detoxification is a designed program for 5/7/15 days or a month as per individual need

1st stage: (Poorva Karma) Preparation of body

In this stage, we start boosting up the metabolic functions to move deep seated toxins in to the Gut or nearer cleansing channel to eliminate them out of the body by using herbs, internal administration of herbal Ghee or medicated butter, Ayurvedic Abhyangas(massage) with specific herbal medicated oils, Herbal Steaming, Scrubbing with herbal powders, Nasal medication etc. The toxins are very sticky, deep seated and lives in circulatory channels. The preparatory phase prepare body to soften the deep-seated toxins.

2nd Stage: (Pradhan Karma) Cleansing Phase

There are many ways explained in Ayurveda to draw toxins out of the body but your consultant will explain prior to Panchakarma, which root is required to cleanse.
